Amaravati Secretariat is located in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India, commissioned by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority. The development proposed a new Federal State Capital for the State of Andhra Pradesh initially proposed as a masterplan in its entirety with a phased construction. The project was comprised of three elements in the; Parliament; High Court; and Secretariat to form the framework for a new State Capital within the region to encourage future expansion and development. I joined the project in August 2018 as the project was progressing through RIBA Stage 3 (Developed Design), my deliverables would focus on facade development of the Secretariat initially, and subsequently landscape development.
